SENATE BILL NO. 34 "An Act providing for the establishment of                                                                   
public schools through state-tribal compacts" was read the second

Senator Holland, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                               
adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered today. Senator                                                           
Kiehl objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further                                                             
objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 34(JUD) "An Act relating to                                                                   
a demonstration state-tribal education compact; relating to                                                                     
demonstration state-tribal education compact schools; and providing                                                             
for an effective date" was adopted.                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
President Micciche stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 34(JUD) will                                                                   
advance to third reading on the next calendar.
